So new Avengers cast list just got announce and I'm back in my marvel fixation so let's talk about a crack theory I got.
I think the revealed cast list are the gonna be the characters that will die in Doomsday, and might even stay dead (with a few exceptions)
Let me explain my reasonings for this take:
This takes into account another theory that I love which is that RDJ's Doom is just a Doombot and we'll get an original Doctor Doom casting later for Secret Wars. This gives us Marvel an out from paying an arm, a leg and your firstborn child to RDJ for every Doom appearance.
This lets Marvel give they're take on these characters while not ignoring the existence of the originals. They could just say that they existed but now they're gone so here's our tak. This point is why I think that the Fantastic 4 won't be among the permanently dead group.
Lets them remove characters who are to controversial (Sam, and Shuri), actors whose contracts are way past due and want out (Thor (4 solo films, 4-5 non-solo films) Bucky (9 movies, 1 show)), actors to old to continue to play their roles (Magneto and Professor X) or characters that frankly don't matter to their future projects (The Thunderbolts and Nemor). Not that I'm saying that I want this to be the case with these characters, frankly I love tall the characters I named as examples, but MCU is owned by Disney and Diseny wants money and for fans to stop hating on them for their bad film making choices.
Lets Doom win, since by killing Loki off he wins and takes over the multiverse which will cause Secret Wars and will parallel Infinity War with the heroes' losing only to take the win in Endgame but on a much bigger scale. And also shows Doom as far more powerful than gods (Thor & Loki), Extremely Overpowered Mutatans (Mystic, Nightcrawler, Cyclops, Gambit, etc), Genius Minds (Reed and Hank), Reality Benders (Bob/Sentry) and Mystical Martial Artists (Shang-chi), showing how big of a threat Doom really is.
So here's my prediction for the plot:
Sam forms the new Avengers while working with the Thunderbolts, while dealing with a situation, the Fox X-men Earth appear in the sky and threaten an incursion.
MCU characters and Fox X-Men find out about incursions from Dr. Strange (or America Chavez), and Monica Rambeau, respectively.
Then come together by meeting the Four who tells them that Doom is the one after the god of stories who holds the multiverse together revealing it to be Loki.
RDJ's Doom appears to be the real Doom in charge and is coming to kill Loki with his massive army that the combined forces of the X-men and new Avengers take down with Thor learning his lesson from Thanos and taking off RDJ's Doom's head only to discover that he was a Doombot and the real Doom had already killed Loki and stolen his power.
This leads to the Real Doom changing reality and killing all the heroes with the help of either Dr. Strange or Wanda Maximoff. Leaning towards Wanda especially.
The only exceptions are Reverse-Time Hiest Steve Rogers who is protected by the fact he was Time traveling, Tom Holland Spiderman because he is MCU's anchor being and no one knows who he is, Natasha and 2018 Gamora who are out of the equation due to the soul stone claiming their lives, Clint (especially if it's Wanda helping Doom) due to his "insignificant", the Young Avengers (America, Kamala, Billy, Tommy, Hulking, Kate Bishop, etc.) because reasons (could be Agatha Protecting Billy and getting the rest involved, could be America being a universal constant, could be anything really), White Vision - again also because of Wanda but could also because Doom might see him useful and not really care that he was alive, and Quill who is protected by being part celestial.
This is just a prediciton but I think it's pretty good. Why don't you give your opinion in reblogs and comments.

I think I’m probably on team ‘this is still part of the trial’ because as much as I want Billy to be evil just for the fun of it I’ve gotta believe that they are setting up young avengers and they need us to be unequivocally on his side

They are going to speak to Alice (or at least her spirit) in the last episodes!
And here’s how I know it. Obviously, we’ve seen the clips of her in the trailers, so she is going to be seen again somehow. But I’m convinced they are going to speak to her using a summoning circle. And the best part is- the show has been telling us this in every single episode…. IN THE CREDITS!
Very quickly- almost blink if you’ll miss it, this comes up before Ali Ahn’s name:
Tumblr media
It says “Can You Talk To The Dead?”
And Ali Ahn’s name appears over a classic summoning circle:
Tumblr media
Every other image behind the actor’s credits relates to their character in a very direct way. Jennifer’s credit has crystals, Sharon’s has flowers, etc.
This summoning circle has never been seen in the show before, and has not been associated with Alice in any way.
But look what is in the trailers and promo materials for the last few episodes…
Tumblr media
There has also been shots of a hand drawing a circle with chalk on the ground, and candles being lit up:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Which is all crazy, because the show has been telling us all along. They are going to talk to Alice again using a summoning circle!!

While I know Tommy and Billy are identical in the comics, I don’t think that will be true in the MCU for the following reasons:
Them being identical would force Joe Locke to play a double role which would cost more money/time, and would probably make it difficult to schedule. Besides I wouldn’t like it personally, usually I find that sort of thing gimmicky.
Tommy and Billy were never shown to be identical in the MCU. In Wandavision, they are played by similar looking but not identical child actors. It wouldn’t have been that hard to find acting identical twins as they are very common in the industry for child labor law reasons and it would have made sense as a meta joke since Elizabeth Olson has two famous twin sisters. But they didn’t go that route. Tommy and Billy were always meant to be fraternal twins, just like Pietro and Wanda.
In the comics, Tommy and Billy meet by accident and the only indication that they might be somehow related is that they are identical. This is strange because they were born to different families and supposedly have nothing in common. It sets them up to look into their origins. But in the MCU, Billy already knows he has a brother and that he is the son of the Scarlet Witch. Them being identical doesn’t serve a purpose and would undercut the idea they have set up that Billy and Tommy have jumped into bodies that don’t really belong to them. Their souls are brothers but not their bodies.
That's all to say whoever they cast could look fairly different

the most insidious thing about the mcu is that thunderbolts was quite interesting and I just audibly reacted to an end credits scene

Thunderbolts* prediction: Bucky Barnes
Ok I've just seen a picture from some Thunderbolts* trailer/promo on TikTok, of Bucky sitting with his back turned and immediately came up with a theory that is not depressing ^^
So, Bucky's arc in Thunderbolts* will be similar to Bob. I'm not about to hold my breath that he will have a happy ending given the focus the latest trailer gave Void >< BUT I think the reason we are meant to feel sad about the idea of Bucky going back to being the Winter Soldier is because Bucky is...secretly. And that's the arc. Bc yes, Bucky is now in control of his powers but he hasn't come to terms with the trauma and the connection between his arm, powers and the Avengers. This is not a repeat of Hydra. This is a repeat of Infinity War. He is taken out of retirement...again...to be a superhero...again...using the metal arm and super-serum. Last time he was with friends he trusted so he didn't need to think about whether he was "cured" or not.
But now he is the responsible adult in the room (Walker doesn't count) amongst people just as fucked up as he is, so naturally he is forced to confront all his baggage. That's what this is. He will not get a happy ending necessarily. But he will learn to accept that he likes being the Winter Soldier- on his terms.
I mean look at the scene where he acts like Cap in front of the team "is there a problem" that's a totally different Bucky. He's in charge of his own destiny and yes rn that includes the winter soldier bc he's decided to stop running from his past, from who he really is and from things being hard bc supposedly something is "getting bad again" cough super soldier alzheimer's cough~ he accepts that he is a mess.
That's one better than James Gunn's TSS did tbh
"It's okay to be a mess" is a much better theme than "friendship conquers all"

MCU Spider-Man 4 Thoughts/Theories/Predictions
I recently finished playing Insomniac Spider-Man Remastered and it got me thinking about MCU and where his story could go so I decided to make a list of some of my thoughts/theories/predictions for (hopefully) future movies for my favorite Spidey (I love all Spidey’s but this one holds a special place in my heart because he was the first Spidey I’ve ever watched)
Peter will frequent MJ’s work, he won’t talk to her much but he likes to check in on her and Ned as much as he can without coming across as a creep
Tumblr media
From his newfound isolation also comes heavy bouts of depression so he buries himself with Spidey work
Tumblr media
During one of these bouts he comes across some black ooze (the Sony Venom symbiote piece that got left behind) and it eagerly latches onto him feeding off all his insecurities and isolating him from others even more
Tumblr media
MJ becomes suspicious of him, she can’t quite put her finger on it but something about him is familiar. She often finds her hand going to her broken lotus necklace when he comes by…
Tumblr media
MJ has been having a lot of weird dreams lately, about a boy with a blurry face who makes her feel all warm and fuzzy inside
Tumblr media
She and Ned get closer and are now BFF’s
Tumblr media
MJ notices that Peter doesn’t come around any more, at this point she has already started putting together a red string clue board to try and piece all these weird puzzle pieces together. She’d probably talk to Ned about it at some point who’d go along with it since he too has had a weird feeling that something - or someone - is missing
Tumblr media
MJ will also be involved with a investigative journalism program at MIT
Tumblr media
At some point Miles is introduced, maybe as another cafe regular or something
Tumblr media
By the end MJ pieces all the weird shards of her memories together and cues a memory montage (very Rapunzel remembering she’s the lost princess-esque)
Tumblr media
Once MJ remembers she immediately tells Ned, Ned’s memories need a bit more jogging but soon he remembers as well and they both go searching for Symbiote Peter to try and stop him before he goes to far
Together they’re able to tear the symbiote from him
They have a tearful reunion together and destroy the symbiote (or so they thought)
This is all I have so far, if i think of anything else I’ll add it in a reblog

AaA finale wishes
Things I'm expecting to happen in no particular order:
Next trial is the last one, it's the earth trial but here it doesn't necessarily need a green witch to solve it
Agatha helps both Jen and Billy to regain the memories they lost after their own near death experience
Jen and Billy get out of the road without Agatha but not because they wanted to (either she push them out somehow for some reason, or Rio separate them on purpose then tries and keeps Agatha trapped so that she dies or something)
Timey wimey stuff happen because 'time is an illusion'
we see how Agatha was born/why her mother decided she was evil from birth
We see how Agatha and 'Rio' met and fell in love
How Agatha aquiered the darkhold
Some twist about Nick Scratch
Billy getting his full Wiccan appearance with a blueish suit and a red cape
Jen begins to teach other people, spreading good important witchy knowledge
Things I hope we'll get:
Part of the timey wimey stuff is that Wanda's kids were created from preexisting souls (at least pieces of them) who then went back to the body they were meant to be, hense Wanda's "thank you for choosing me to be your mother". Billy's reunion won't be with Tommy yet, nor Wanda, but with himself: he always has been Billy Kaplan he just also was Billy Maximoff for a bit too
We learn that an other teenager had a near death experience near Westview when the hex went down, but his powers suddenly manifested in a more violent way while he also had no idea who he was anymore. Tommy's souls might still be broken in two which could be why Billy can feel him in a way without really being able to know where he is. Or Tommy really is in a certain institution after he accidentally made things explode, and it's a place build to block all kinds of powers
Explanations about 'Rio', her origins and powers, and purpose. Is she really big cosmic entity Death, or a temporary limited to Earth jurisdiction, nerfed avatar of Death? Is she solidifying people's soul into flowers to transport them? Where does she take them, is it Mephisto's Hell dimension or Dormmamu's or an other - frustratingly - unspecified afterlife place. Would be nice if it was Battleworld for some of them so that we get a chance to see at least Alice again.
Speaking about Alice, if she isn't taken to Battleworld, a version of her from an alternate reality appears at the end.
Implied that Agatha starts or think of starting a magic academy like the MCU's version of Strange Academy
Someone drops the word 'mutant' - like they did in Miss Marvel - for Agatha, and possibly Billy.
Rather than 'Rio' getting Agatha to die in one way or an other, Agatha (maybe with Billy's help) 'frees' her from this Death job, and she just stays/goes back to being a green witch. She's very pissed and might try to/swears that she will directly kill Agatha but it is implied that they might now be more likely to reconcile one day - especially after also having here talked (screamed at each other) about Nicolas.
Billy goes home to his parents and tells them he remembers everything
America Chavez (and/or Kamala Khan and/or Kate Bishop) shows up in the credits
Somehow we learn Sharon "Ms Hart" Devis was using magic so that her flowers look perfect
The Bohner family reunion t-shirt was foreshadowing hilariously, and Ralph is actually Nick - is set up to be an antagonist in a sequel/spin off or something, it introduce Mephisto to the MCU like Thanos was before he appears in Ironheart
Just hopefully it's really as satisfying as they say it is, and not super depressing. In my honest opinion superhero fatigue isn't a thing, people just kept getting disappointed that those movies/shows rather than being cool and fun and safe entertainment, where the protagonist save the day and get the girl/guy, where now almost systematically full of tragedies or at best bitter-sweet.
Just give us some Halloween themed fun please haha 😅

Loki S2 Finale Prediction
Tumblr media
With all the news and announcements coming out, i decided to make a prediction for what the finale will be. tbh This is based on what I have seen in the trailer and other stuff
——————————————————————————
The episode would pick up back where it all started in episode 1, where the TVA is in shambles and Loki would be time slipping (or not)
Now from episode 1, it's understood that Loki HAD the ability to go from the past, present and future of the TVA with a part of that future being seen towards the end of episode 1, with the phone ringing, Sylvie struggling to get the elevator door open and present Loki being pruned by someone (which many have believed to be future Loki) but I beg to differ.
I don’t think it was future Loki pruning past (or our current) Loki, and the only reason why I believe this is because, TO ME it doesn’t make sense how FUTURE LOKI would prune his past self, how could 2 versions of Loki be in the same timeline of the TVA? Especially since Loki has been time slipping back and forth that entire episode.
NOT TO MENTION that Sylvie calls him out “There you are!” As if she’s been searching for him for AGES or is relieved to find him, but before anything could happen, Loki is pruned and sent back to the present (to where EP1 left off)
Why would “FUTURE” Loki prune himself? Because he knew that “it's what needed to be done?”, to me it doesn’t make sense nor do I think it’s plausible that it was him….so who pruned Loki?
My 2 guesses are Ravonna Renslayer or Victor Timely, with my bet being Victor Timely, which leads me to believe that Loki had to sacrifice himself (as seen by 2 shots in the trailer of Sylvie and Mobius with mortified faces and Loki simply smiling back)
Now why would he prune Loki? Because by sending him back to the past, Victor Timely has full control and power to start the TVA all over again or at least re-claim control of it in the future, and basically reset everything once again (as explained by He Who Remains in the S1 Finale)
So by the time we the audience and present Loki reach the future (or S2 finale) it would have been too late.
I don’t think Marvel would kill Loki off, honestly, in the position Marvel is in right now, it is NOT a good business decision, ALTHOUGH from a story point position…ending the Loki arc with a banger Season 2 would not only seal Loki’s entire history in the franchise, giving him a good or bad ending, is up to debate, but PERSONALLY a bitter-sweet ending would fit well for a character like Loki
I think the finale would involve Loki sacrificing himself to save the TVA, Sylvie, Mobius, and essentially…everyone. The future we saw in S1 was a future too late, it was bound to happen and this sacrifice, where I am pretty sure he would be back in the temporal loom could possibly kill him…or maybe spit him into a different timeline…or maybe…he wakes up, and he’s in Valhalla
——————————————————————————
I love fan theories and predictions, literally speculation of what could happen is just so fun so if y’all have ur own theories or predictions, go ahead and comment/reblog it, i love love love reading them!!
